Southern Utah has a big reputation for producing giant elk and mule deer, and Jake Bess Hunts consistently kill some of the biggest bulls and the best bucks these units have to offer. For Jake and his guides, there is no off-season as they are constantly guiding their clients to trophy mountain lions, black bears and once-in-a-lifetime trophies as well as enormous bucks and bulls.

Southern Utah produces some of the largest bull elk in the world. In recent years, Jake has found, followed and harvested some truly gigantic bulls. They've killed bulls exceeding 400" on the archery, early-season rifle hunts, as well as late season rifle hunts. They have also guided their hunters to countless bulls in the 350"-380" range.
