San Clemente – May 7, 2012: Bang Surgical To Enter Sell Broadcasting Technology to Training and Education Divisions At Medical Device Manufacturers
Ted Schwartz, CEO, states “this is a natural progression. Bang is already well engaged with medical device manufacturers and their surgeons. Training and Education divisions at the device manufacturers are presently streaming live OR surgeries for various training applications. For us to offer a low cost alternative to a film crew and make streaming live OR surgeries much more commonplace in the training world. Bang is plug and play. Very simple and does not require ORs to retrofit for equipment or to bring in film crews”

Bang has been streaming live OR surgeries for over a year. Schwartz continues, “As a company we want to stay focused on our core competencies and not shift directions or modify our product offerings based on each customers requests. We have a robust mobile broadcasting technology that can easily be used in different markets without us having to redirect the ship. Training and Education is a great short term revenue source while we still focus on the bigger long term picture of modernizing OR product support between medical device manufacturers and hospitals. We anticipate training related revenue in 2013”.

There is a strong push to deliver the finest patient care at a realistic and maintainable expense. Hospitals have to function similar to a regular business, when patient care is not compromised, otherwise, just like a regular business, they can go out of business. Bang Surgical is providing solutions to help hospitals and medical device manufacturers in order to deliver the highest standard of patient care at a low cost.
